unb’s english program will expose students to literature that will deepen their understanding of different cultures and different people. it will refine their writing, oral communication, and critical thinking skills, show students how language is vital to daily life, and deepen their appreciation of beauty. students will study poetry, drama, films, and fiction that anchor the collective imagination.the faculty members have been recognized locally, regionally, and nationally for their excellence in teaching.
