accounting is more than just numbers. it’s actually an entire information system that the world depends on. 

in unb’s accounting program, students will learn about the information system that every business, every organization, and every economic entity in the world depends on to answer key economic questions: is one succeeding or failing? are they using resources effectively? what changes should be made and how should they make them? what does the future look like? 

graduates who complete the necessary pre-requisites can enter directly into the cpa professional education program to pursue the chartered professional accountant designation. 

classes are interactive with award winning instructors and provide opportunities for them to debate, question, and work closely with their instructors and peers. 

hands-on learning:
  • co-operative education (co-op) program
  • coursework involving case studies and group projects
skills students will acquire:
  • financial reporting
  • management accounting
  • auditing and quality assurance
  • demonstrating professional and ethical behaviour
