economists are excited by changing environments and unique challenges. when students study economics, they are examining decision-making processes at the personal and political level and contributing to a way of thinking that will influence countless social issues, including: poverty, climate change, health care, international development, globalization, immigration, financial institutions, and government regulations. economics will prepare students for a career of investigating and analyzing economic events, forecasting trends, and creating efficient policies while innovating current systems.
this program takes a comprehensive approach to the study of economics. at unb, students build strong fundamentals by gaining knowledge about modern economic issues and problems facing the current system.
