a degree in biotechnology equips students with the knowledge, experience, and contacts required to forge their way into this exciting and innovative field. biotechnology students have the opportunity to not only study science and its application in the classroom but can also explore various career options through practicums and co-ops. on campus, students can access our new biology and analytical chemistry laboratories, our confocal microscopy suite and our on-campus ecosystem study area. off-campus students can work alongside life science professionals in their field of choice including healthcare, veterinary medicine, forensic science and nanotechnology. together these combined opportunities give students marketable skills and an employment advantage.
