virtually everything eaten, drank, worn, touched, and used is the result of chemical engineering. 

in the chemical engineering program at unb, students learn how to transform raw materials into useful products while protecting the environment, managing resources, and meeting strict health and safety standards. students will also explore chemical processes that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase safety and security. examples include the development of more affordable drugs, more efficient fuels, and better pollution controls. in other words, students will explore ways to make the world a better place. 

unb’s chemical engineering program consists of award-winning professors in teaching and research as well as students who have been recognized nationally for the quality of their senior design projects. in addition, the small class sizes mean greater interaction between students, their instructors, and their peers.
