economics is about answering how and why. how and why do people produce, distribute, and purchase goods and services? how and why do people address problems? how and why do people make decisions? when people attempt to answer those questions, people attempt to understand economics.

in unb’s economics program, students will learn to use analytical, mathematical, and statistical techniques to answer questions and solve problems. students examine the roles individuals, consumers, small businesses, managers, ceos, and politicians play in shaping both the canadian and global economies.

classes are interactive with award winning instructors and provide opportunities for students to debate, question, and work closely with their instructors and peers.
