the bachelor of fine arts (bfa) is an intensive professional program of study specifically designed to prepare you to enter the field of fine arts and/or continue your studies in graduate school. the bfa allows you to collaborate with faculty on independent special interest problems. 

fine arts at the university of dayton offer the creative individual a wide variety of artistic experiences designed for personal enrichment and high degree of originality. a faculty of highly qualified artists offers instruction in such areas as painting, drawing, ceramics, illustration, sculpture, and printmaking. fine art studio classes provide a broad base of experience for the individual seeking to explore the diverse possibilities of artistic expression and thought. the department offers a broad selection of courses that provide beginner as well as the committed artist with a range of experiences that are intended to enhance and expand a student’s creative abilities.
