this course offers:

  • how to write high-quality sports features, commentary and analysis
  • the chance to put reporting skills to the test at top sporting events. bu’s partnership with afc bournemouth has facilitated student coverage of the team’s home games and attendance at pre-match press conferences
  • invaluable industry connections and a four-week placement program with organisations including national and regional media, the bbc and sky sports
  • the chance to learn from experienced professionals including senior industry guest speakers and successful alumni
  • the opportunity to make a name for yourself in the world of journalism by publishing news, views and features across bus platforms: buzz, nerve media and the rock independent newspaper
  • the potential to acquire transferable skills that can be applied across the media
  • the opportunity to study abroad for a semester at one of bus partner universities in canada, czech republic or the us.
