the bachelor of arts (honours) - visual effects  will give student the expertise, skills and portfolio to excel in the visual effects, computer animation, and computer games industries 

student will develop the skills to conceptualise, storyboard, and design original animations and visual effects to engage and captivate audiences, whilst having the ability to work on the technical facets of animation and visual effects production 

student will tailor their studies with option units in the second and final years to develop your skills in 3d animation, visual effects, and technical arts – or work across specialisms reflecting a range of industry practices 

student will work on projects that simulate real-world challenges and scenarios and benefit from supportive tutors who provide tailored and personal reviews of your work  
make invaluable contacts through regular industry guest speakers and bu’s bfx festival, featuring speakers, masterclasses, competitions, screenings and networking events 
access specialist facilities including a green screen and motion capture studio, as well as animation labs equipped with industry-standard software.
