this bsc (hons) film and video production technology course combines the study of engineering theory with practical skills development. students will study the fundamentals of signals, computing and broadcast technologies, video and audio engineering, wireless links and video over ip.
on the practical side, students will study camera skills, cinematography for cinema, film sound postproduction, tv production, titles and graphics.
all of the technical modules have practical labs, giving students a hands-on illustration of topics. the professional facilities will familiarise students with industry-standard equipment and allow them to work at the highest level. this, along with a focus on professional attitudes to work and health and safety, will prepare students for professional industry.
