Progression Summary
the integrated accelerator program is a two-semester program designed specifically for high-achieving, bilingual international students who want direct enrolment into their degree program but also want the academic, cultural, professional, and linguistic support they need to thrive at auburn university. the program features a robust advising and mentorship component, as well as priority access to the most exclusive, in-demand courses. upon completion of the program, students progress into year two of their undergraduate education with a full year’s worth of academic credits.
the elementary education program prepares teachers to provide appropriate learning experiences that meet the needs, capabilities, and interests of children in grades k-6. coursework develops students’ knowledge and skills in research-based language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies content. students will take courses in educational psychology, curriculum and teaching, evaluation of teaching and learning, and foundations of education.
