the objectives of the bachelor of nursing with honours are:
- develop an understanding of individual responses to nursing practice and how this impacts on research.
- develop the ability to critically and theoretically analyse a context or aspect of practice and apply this analysis to the research project.
- conduct a modest but rigorous research project that incorporates an appropriate research design and demonstrates critical engagement with the phenomenon of interest.
- contribute to a scholarly community through dialogue, debate and critique.
graduates of the bachelor of nursing with honours may enter graduate/professional development programs in australian healthcare systems. graduates are prepared to undertake postgraduate research and activities; and gain preferential access to postgraduate courses.
