as a student of the discover teacher education program, you'll explore each of the university of dayton's teacher education majors to decide where you best fit in the school of education and health sciences.
during your first year in our program, you'll be registered for a two-semester sequence that will help you define your professional goals while assessing your personal strengths and weaknesses as a future teacher. by the end this year, you'll discover your ideal area of education - and be on your way to your future as a teacher.
even after you've made your decision, individual faculty advising and guidance will be available throughout your entire four years.
