Progression Summary
the master of science in biodiversity and conservation prepares students for a career protecting biodiversity in a range of natural, agricultural and urban ecosystems around the world. throughout their course, they will be in the field learning about conservation issues and the constraints posed by budgets, policy and legislation.
fieldwork will form a large part of graduates' learning. in the field biology module they will have the opportunity to embark on exciting fieldwork to gain hands-on experience and understand the challenges faced in real-world conservation projects.
students will receive training in the principles of experimental design and data collection in an area of outstanding conservation and biodiversity interest, equipping them with the key skills to plan and manage their own conservation projects.
