developed in partnership with the nhs trusts, this middlesex university course will see students spend 50% of their time on placements with middlesex university's partner hospitals. students will learn the essential nursing skills needed to take effective care of adult patients in a live environment.

students will develop their skills in communication, care and compassion, demonstrating their dedication to making a difference in other people’s lives. students will study in modern facilities that include nursing skills labs, professional training equipment and high-fidelity simulations in areas such as resuscitation.

this middlesex university course allows students to combine the theory they learn in the classroom with the actual practice of treating patients in a hospital environment. students will use equipment for practicing realistic emergency care situations and scenarios, the life-like mannequins simulating diseases, symptoms and conditions students will encounter as a working nurse.

beyond the essential nursing skills, students will build their problem-solving skills and critical decision-making, gaining confidence to work in a high pressure, stressful environment. with a bsc in nursing, students will become an independent and self-motivated practitioner with a range of career options. previously, graduates have gone on to work as nurses, health coordinators, ward managers and more.
