the medieval period spanned ten centuries, from the fall of the roman empire to the birth of the renaissance. students study the era’s cultural practices and artefacts to discover how they shape the modern world. they explore medieval literature, history, art and philosophy to gain an awareness of their cultural heritage. students work with original medieval manuscripts.
