the bachelor of science in education in integrated language arts prepares students for teacher licensure in integrated language arts reading, writing, speaking and listening) for grades 7-12.

the combination of content and methods courses provides a strong foundation for graduates of the program, who will be licensed to teach english/language arts, journalism, communication and theater. (please note that those with ohio licensure in integrated language arts are able to teach theater for grades seven and eight only.) this program uniquely features a methods course devoted to the teaching of new media.
