students can build on successes in the bachelor of health sciences by completing honours to enhance essential employability skills or take the first step to a career in research, academia and beyond.

students will gain a deeper understanding of research theory, design and practice principles introduced in their undergraduate degree. they will further develop their laboratory skills, study advanced issues in health and complete a tailored health research methodology subject. to apply research knowledge and skills, students will undertake an original research project under the supervision of la trobe university's expert staff to produce evidence-based solutions.
