Progression Summary

the integrated accelerator program is a two-semester program designed specifically for high-achieving, bilingual international students who want direct enrolment into their degree program but also want the academic, cultural, professional, and linguistic support they need to thrive at auburn university. the program features a robust advising and mentorship component, as well as priority access to the most exclusive, in-demand courses. upon completion of the program, students progress into year two of their undergraduate education with a full year’s worth of academic credits.

caring for animals and feeding a growing population. this program in animal sciences will prepare students for a career in veterinary medicine, medicine, equine science, food safety, production and related areas. the program is also excellent preparation for graduate studies in fields such as animal nutrition, biochemistry and molecular biology, microbiology, growth biology, meat science and muscle biology, breeding and genetics, and reproductive biology.

the equine science option will enable students to focus on science and on practical skills required for a successful career in the horse industry. through the choice of appropriate elective courses, this track can also prepare students to apply to auburn’s college of veterinary medicine
