the integrated accelerator program is a two-semester program designed specifically for high-achieving, bilingual international students who want direct enrolment into their degree program but also want the academic, cultural, professional, and linguistic support they need to thrive at auburn university. the program features a robust advising and mentorship component, as well as priority access to the most exclusive, in-demand courses. upon completion of the program, students progress into year two of their undergraduate education with a full year’s worth of academic credits.

the major in agricultural science offers a broad base of knowledge and expertise across a variety of agricultural disciplines. the cross-disciplinary program was developed in response to a growing and more diverse agricultural industry as well as the increased need among related industries for a more broadly skilled workforce. the agricultural science major is designed to prepare students for a career within agricultural companies, producer groups or extension agencies. it is also an excellent foundation for a teaching career in agriscience education or for graduate studies in a variety of agricultural fields. coursework in the agricultural science major will include studies in crop and soil science, animal sciences, horticulture, agribusiness, fisheries and aquaculture, agricultural technology and more.
