the mathematical science program provides students with the ability to tackle current issues in the arts, humanities, social sciences, business or computing by blending studies in mathematics and statistics with their application to a secondary field of interest. knowledge of mathematics and statistics is crucial for understanding our world, and this unique program provides a core of both mathematics and statistics with a choice of a mathematics stream or a statistics stream. secondary fields of interests include the following: economics; computer science; or an individualized area of emphasis in humanities and social sciences.
