the bachelor of arts in english gives you the flexibility to shape your academic career in line with your professional and personal interests. the curriculum is designed for:

• students who desire a broad education emphasizing language and literature.
  
• students who wish to teach or to prepare for graduate studies in literature or rhetoric and composition.
• students who intend to use their background and skills as a foundation for careers in writing, editing, law, business or public service.
