international direct is designed for international students with advanced english-language skills. the focus is on academic, cultural and professional growth so students can excel in school and prepare for a successful future.

dance majors engage in high quality training in contemporary dance forms, with additional dance styles and somatic techniques as complements to their technical development. coursework in the history and aesthetics of dance taught from a global perspective provide them with a more expansive understanding of their art. additional experiences with creative process work, pedagogy, and community dance training, as well as performance opportunities in a variety of venues, connect students to the larger communities in which their art is made.
