twu’s bachelor of science with a major in mathematics teaches students mathematics as the language of natural and applied science and technology. mathematics infuses business, the social sciences, engineering, computing and information sciences requiring students to take both mathematic courses and courses from other disciplines.
students are exposed to a variety of courses in the sub-disciplines of pure and applied mathematics. classes include calculus, algebra, differential equations, number theory, mathematical physics, numerical methods, statistics, and discrete mathematics.
