this unique and customizable program in the humanities and social sciences provides students with the opportunity to specialize in fields such as anthropology, culture studies, diversity and equity studies, global studies, english, french, history or philosophy.

you’ll learn critical analysis and research skills, and can participate in hands-on experiential learning opportunities such as team-based and community projects, an international exchange or a guaranteed fellowship. your experiences both inside and outside of the classroom mean you’ll be ready to apply key insights from the past to solve the real-world problems of today and tomorrow.

after graduation

students graduate from this program understanding the significant ideas that have shaped the world. you’ll be able to draw connections across disciplines and make contributions to media, entertainment, education, non-profits; arts and public service sectors, business, communications; intercultural relations, mediation; cultural and consumer advocacy, community engagement, public relations, design and advertising.

you may work as a human resource coordinator, diversity and inclusion program coordinator, policy analyst, business consultant, archaeological field technician or design researcher. you may also choose to pursue teachers’ college, law school or graduate studies in various disciplines.
