Progression Summary

this joint honours mathematics and philosophy degree offers an extremely wide choice of philosophy modules -with coverage from pre- socrates to the present day- and particular teaching strengths in philosophy of mind, philosophy of science and the history of philosophy. the mathematics element gives students a foundation in many branches of mathematics, including algebra, analysis, probability and geometry. students on the mathematics & philosophy with a year abroad bsc will spend their third year studying abroad before returning to complete a final year with king’s. students on the three year course may transfer to the four year mathematics & philosophy with a year abroad bsc. women in stem scholarship the faculty funds a scholarship for female undergraduate applicants, as part of its commitment to increasing the representation of women in stem (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). find out more about eligibility and how to apply at the link in the sidebar.
