the aviation industry offers a varied and stimulating working environment that requires expertise in specification design, analysis and operations. you will also have the opportunity, for an additional charge, to undertake all training and flying experience necessary to obtain a national private pilot’s licence (nppl) or, with additional flying hours, a private pilot’s licence (ppl). you will therefore gain a practical knowledge of aviation through extensive piloting opportunities which will prove invaluable if you are considering a piloting career. in our unmanned aerial vehicle (uav) lab, you will have an opportunity to get involved with uavs as extra-curricular activity or as part of your final year project.
