This includes: - strategic management and organisation - managing across cultures - financial management and financial risk - economics and marketing **What you'll learn** You'll focus on the comparative analyses of: - countries - institutions - cultures This is in context with the strategic decision-making of companies in an international environment. On completion of this course, you'll be able to demonstrate: - knowledge of how to improve the quality of management, leadership and practice in international organisations - improved capacity for enquiry, problem solving, critical thinking and analysis - the ability to communicate and cooperate with individuals from different cultural backgrounds **Your development** **Professional skills** On completion of the course, you'll be able to demonstrate crucial interpersonal skills and know how to: - improve the quality of organisational management, leadership and practice - develop your capacity for enquiry, problem solving, critical thinking and analysis - communicate and cooperate with people from different cultural backgrounds - develop skills for operations management within international, multinational or transnational enterprises **Delivery and teaching methods** Semester one is taught at Newcastle University Business School. Semester two is taught at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Groningen. Both universities teach the course in English, so you do not need knowledge of the Dutch language. There are many opportunities to engage with organisations through guest lectures and live case studies. **Facilities** Newcastle University Business School is one of the largest Schools in the University. We have over 3,100 students representing over 80 nationalities.
