the construction engineering, innovation, and leadership meng at ucl is a four-year integrated master’s course. it is designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders in the construction industry. this forward-thinking course combines a strong foundation in civil engineering with skills in innovation and leadership, empowering students to drive transformative change and lead high-impact projects across the sector. the curriculum focuses on six core areas: engineering skills, whole life design, project management, sustainability, leadership, and digital technologies, with an emphasis on low-carbon development. students engage in real-world case-studies, site visits, and industry and policy meetings, to deepen their understanding and apply their knowledge to challenges of the evolving built environment.
