this course is subject to approval for 2026 entry you will gain a critical awareness of key issues within the media sector including regulation, fake news and the impact of technology in storytelling and media production. through dedicated sports modules you will cover all aspects of the sports media industry, from live events, interviews, press conferences, features and news reporting. you will learn about the craft as well as the art of sports writing. alongside your specialist modules, you are also able to select electives ranging from audience strategy, reporting north america and audio production (podcasting). one of the key aspects of this course is the career development module, allowing you to undertake a credited work placement or freelance work or an industry project. award you can select to apply for one of the available exit points for this course. master of arts (ma) who is this course for? this course provides you with core journalism skills to take into any role; news reporting, feature writing, interviewing, multimedia production, media law and journalism ethics.
