you will benefit from the health economics and policy msc by gaining and developing practical new skills and critical knowledge that directly relates to the workplace. our department hosts the city health economics centre (chec) and the london health economics group (lheg). your studies will benefit from the output of both. your analytical and modelling abilities will grow alongside an understanding of microeconomics principles applied to health and healthcare. we aim to ensure that you graduate with full confidence in your abilities as a health economist and how they provide real value to employers. award you can select to apply for one of the available exit points for this course. master of science (msc) who is this course for? if you are committed to finding a rewarding career as a health economist, this msc programme can put you on the best track. it is designed for those with a background in economics who wish to specialise, but we also offer provision if you are new to economics.

ielts academic test with an overall score of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any component. toefl test with a score of at least 90, with a minimum of 19 in listening, 20 in reading, 19 in writing and 22 in speaking.

some mathematical background (a-level, ib, ap or any other equivalent secondary school qualification). a lower second-class (2.2) degree (or equivalent) undergraduate degree in economics or a related discipline (e.g. finance or mathematics).
