you will learn as part of a diverse cohort from around the world in this prestigious erasmus mundus programme. the mundus journalism degree explores the practice and performance of journalism and the media in the context of globalisation, modernisation and commercialisation. we will give you relevant skills and knowledge concerning european journalism as you apply a global perspective to journalism before specialising in one journalistic field. you will gain an understanding of contemporary issues and debates in european journalism and acquire analytical skills and techniques to assess the merits of different approaches and theories. award you can select to apply for one of the available exit points for this course. master of arts (ma) who is this course for? if you have a good first degree together with some journalistic experience and a strong ambition to become a journalist, this master’s degree is ideal. you may have additional interest in crisis and conflict journalism, as this is one of our specialisms at city.

ielts academic test (on paper) with a band score of 7,0 and a minimum score of 6.0 in each category. please note that we do not accept the global ielts indicator. toefl test with a score of at least 100 with a minimum of 19 in listening, 20 in reading, 19 in writing and 22 in speaking. we also accept the toefl ibt special home edition.

saudi arabian bachelor degrees are typically accepted with gpa 3.2 out of 4.0 or gpa 4.0 out of 5.0 equivalent to a uk 2:1 (second-class upper) honours bachelor degree and gpa 2.4 out of 4.0 or gpa 3.0 out of 5.0 equivalent to a uk 2:2 (second-class lower) honours bachelor degree.
