this programme gives you the opportunity to apply for year 1 of a number of medicine degrees with our partner universities. students who are successful on the medicine undergraduate foundation programme, and achieve the other prerequisites for entry such as a succesful multiple mini interview, may be able to progress to a five-year medicine degree.

applicants must normally be 17 years old but will be 18 years old by the end of the programme.
6.0 ielts in every element* for 3 terms (5.5 ielts for extended) students are required to achieve 6.5 ielts equivalent and 70% overall in academic modules, complete an online application, personal statement, provide a reference and be successful at interview for progression to medicine at rcsi.
