program description

the extended accelerator program (eap) is a three-semester program for students seeking an immersive english-learning experience. the program gives students firsthand practical and cultural understanding of the udayton campus and dayton area through its contextual curriculum. upon completion of the program, students progress into the second year of their undergraduate education with a full year’s worth of academic credits.

as an extended accelerator student at udayton global you'll receive:
  • an immersive educational experience with a contextual curriculum bridging language, culture and academics.
  • live, learn, grow is a unique course designed for international students that will deepen your working knowledge of life in the united states and give you a comprehensive understanding of the local community and region.
  • bolster your academic achievement with english-language instruction, tutoring, academic advising and student support.
  • benefit from personalized english-language instruction that’s fully contextual—for example, lab-specific english-language instruction alongside your lab-inclusive science course.

if you are interested in running your own business, you can apply to the entrepreneurship program during your first year. students who are accepted into the program begin entrepreneurship courses in the fall semester of their sophomore year. whether you major or minor in entrepreneurship, you'll discover how businesses are conceived, launched and sustained, as well as learn how to successfully compete for financial resources and identify target markets.

with our entrepreneurship program, you don't have to wait until after graduation to be a ceo. during the sophomore experience, you will create and run a microbusiness with $5,000 in start-up capital. more than $50,000 in venture capital is provided annually to launch these businesses, and you will receive support from the crotty center for entrepreneurial leadership as you move your business from the red to the black.

the school of business administration's undergraduate and graduate programs are accredited by aacsb international — the association to advance collegiate schools of business.
