program description

swinburne foundation year (science / engineering) (8 months) is a pre-university program for international students. it is designed to help students meet the entry requirements for first-year university or progress to a unilink diploma. students will develop fundamental communication, information technology (it) and finite mathematics skills. they will also undertake units in physics, chemistry and science/engineering mathematics. it can equip students for further studies in a range of science and engineering-related areas, such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, aviation, photonics, biotechnology or telecommunication and internet technologies.
