to achieve the best result in teaching and learning, undergraduate language preparation programs at tlc are organized to teach academic english skills in a progressive approach within the context of content area. this modular academic system (mas) of learning is composed of four progressive levels. each level will be taught through the lens of 3 academic content areas – humanities and social sciences (mas-h), sciences and math (mas-s), and professional studies (mas-p). each level is composed of three 5-week learning and assessment sessions; students are therefore able to start the program every five weeks. in addition to the weekly 20-hours direct learning, students will attend daily supervised assignment session to supplement in-class learning.
