with the focus primarily academic in nature, these formats offer maximum benefit to participants wishing to upgrade their english for university study. the intensive english term format and the intensive english term segment can equip students with the english language skills they need. the challenging academic classes focus on learning targets to improve one's ability to write, read, problem solve, study independently, give presentations, and improve note-taking and critical thinking skills.

this program is offered monday through friday (35+ hours per week) and offers individualized timetables, exposure to various teachers, and access to the unb library system. students can choose from an entire term or a segment of the term.
