Progression Summary

Develop a detailed understanding of how businesses use accounting and financial information for decision-making purposes, how data analytics is utilised in the process, and how the results of those decisions are communicated and evaluated in an international and institutional context. Core modules provide an analytical and integrated study of accounting, financial management and digital business, combining a conceptual and theoretical approach with an emphasis on application to relevant, practical problem-solving scenarios. You’ll learn to evaluate alternative theories and methodologies and to make judgements on their applicability to complex issues where there is incomplete information. You’ll study topics such as international financial reporting, accounting for sustainability, international strategic management, business data analytics, and digital innovation. On successful completion of this programme, you will be exempt from four ACCA applied knowledge and applied skills exams: Business Technology (BT), Management Accounting (MA), Financial Accounting (FA), and Corporate and Business Law (LW). In addition, you’ll be granted exemptions from four CIMA professional exams: BA1 to BA4. **For more information, please visit the programme page: https://www.henley.ac.uk/study/masters/msc-accounting-financial-management-and-digital-business.**
