You will then learn about the immune system and develop microbiological techniques and discover the principles of biomedical science. This will ensure that you are well prepared to make a difference in the scientific industry. Students will develop skills for employability including good laboratory practice, good manufacturing practice, control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH) assessments, health and safety policies including compliance to ISO9001 standard, Human Tissues Act, standardisation & calibration, and quality assurance.
