Progression Summary

The scientific industry is extremely varied with chemical, biological and biochemical analysis being predominant. Most degree courses would focus on one of these disciplines and so restrict the graduate in their job opportunities. With this in mind, this course has been developed to cover the main topic areas of these disciplines, including biotechnology, with practical skills being used throughout to supplement the theory covered. As such, this course delivers a broad range of topics designed to ensure you are ready to work in a variety of scientific disciplines with the required practical skills. This brand new course is based on the hugely popular BSc programs in both applied and forensic sciences. The Foundation Degree course provides a vocationally-based delivery method that is an excellent way of learning a broad range of skills for these ever-expanding industries.
