Progression Summary

By studying Agriculture at the University of Nottingham, you can specialise in agriculture-specific modules from day one. You’ll learn the scientific fundamentals through to the practicalities of business management in agricultural and related industries and apply what you’ve learnt to real-life case studies and farms. Some of your time will be spent engaging in practical activities at the University Farm where we have extensive arable, dairy, sheep, woodland and environmental stewardship enterprises. You can also choose to add an extra year studying Computer Science at Nottingham, taken after year two. Our degrees are flexible and you can focus on what interests you – whether it’s crops, livestock or business, or even a combination.
