Progression Summary
Our accredited course will prepare students for a career as a skilled, creative professional specialising in aerospace engineering. We work with industry experts and our accrediting bodies to ensure that students develop the knowledge and skills needed in the workplace. Working with other engineering specialists on challenging and rewarding projects, and the chance to join our Formula Student team, gives students an experience that mirrors industry. Placements and guest lectures provide valuable professional insight and networking opportunities. Students learn with innovative researchers and develop your practical skills using our specialist facilities including a wind tunnel, flight simulators and the Sir Harry Ricardo Laboratories with IC engine test beds. Our Aerospace Engineering MEng offers an extra year of study at master’s level. This course is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
