The Higher National Diploma (HND) in Aeronautical Engineering allows students to achieve a qualification equivalent to the first two years of a degree. The course is taught by industry specialists dedicated to ensuring you acquire the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the sector, the programme offers the opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of the various aspects of flight and professional standards. **Work Experience and Placement** There is no requirement for work experience or a work placement within an Engineering company, although it is encouraged for those that have not currently employed in the sector. On successful completion of the HND Aeronautical Engineering, you could apply to complete a full BEng Honours degree. Your second option would be to seek employment with an engineering company.
