Adult Nursing (Blended)
Progression Summary
The innovative BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing (Blended) at the University of Sunderland was designed in collaboration with placement providers and Health Education England. The course has been designed in a flexible way which reduces attendance on campus and on placement, while still meeting the requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Council. You will learn the knowledge and skills required of a Registered Adult Nurse and on successful completion of the programme, you will be eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as an Adult Nurse. This full -time (Flexible) course is cutting edge and one of only seven of its kind in the country. The flexibility of this programme enables you to fit your studies around your work and family commitments. Much of the theoretical content is delivered online enabling you to access the lessons at a time that suits you. You are required to complete 2300 hours of clinical practice; the uniqueness of this programme means that your working week (on placement) will be 25 hours and your theory weeks will require 32 hours per week commitment. The University of Sunderland's BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing (Blended) has placements in the Northeast of England and in London. All placements areas are supported by registered practitioners who are there to help you achieve your goal of becoming an Adult Nurse
