Undergraduate entry requirements

International Foundation Year

English requirements

2.5 terms: Academic IELTS 5.5 overall (with no less than 5.5 in all sub skills) or equivalent (on iCAS)
3 terms: SELT for UKVI purposes equivalent to IELTS 4.5 (with no less than 4.0 in all sub skills)

Nursing progression degree options:
2.5 terms: Academic IELTS 6.0 overall (with no less than 5.5 in all sub skills) or equivalent (on iCAS)
3 terms: SELT for UKVI purposes equivalent to IELTS 6.0 overall (with no less than 5.5 in all sub skills)

(BSc) Diagnostic Radiography:
2.5 terms: IELTS 5.5 overall (with no less than 5.5 in all sub skills or equivalent)

Subject requirements

Engineering: a pass in Maths is required

Science: a pass from Year 10 in a science subject (Biology and Chemistry) and Maths


You can start your studies with a UKVI- approved Secure English Language Test (SELT), provided you have met all the programme entry requirements.

The test results must have been achieved in the past 24 months and meet the minimum English equivalency score for your chosen programme.
