Program Summary
The University of Aberdeen prepares students for their chosen engineering specialism by designing the first two years of their engineering degrees around a general engineering curriculum. This introduces you to chemical, civil, electrical and electronic, mechanical and petroleum engineering and ensures you have the flexibility and choice to decide on the right degree for you in the third year of your studies.

*For our Life Sciences pathway, you will also need to have studied Chemistry and one other Science or Maths subject. For the Physical Sciences and Engineering pathway, Maths and/or Physics may also be required.

- A levels/AS levels: 24 UCAS points (native language accepted).
- IB first year - 20 points or IB Certificate - 20 points.
- GED - 600 overall with 160 in relevant subjects or Year 11: 2.5. Year 12: 2.0.
You can start your studies with a UKVI- approved Secure English Language Test (SELT), provided you have met all the programme entry requirements.
The test results must have been achieved in the past 24 months and meet the minimum English equivalency score for your chosen programme.
